Christmas came and so did a double size radio/cd/cassette (as seen in the later models). My car currently has a 'normal' sized radio in the middle section on the console (the upper being blanked off switches and then heater controls above them, the lower being cigar lighter and ashtray).
Does anyone sell a modified cente console for a v5 or do I have to cut and file the existing one? If so where can I get one from because I would like to keep the original as original in case I ever change the radio back to a standard one.
Does any of this make sense??

cheers

Ken

Dunno, haven't done it myself (yet). Might do it so I can fit a diagnostic display in the second DIN slot.

At least the part numbers are there which should make things much easier to get hold of.

Yup, and don't forget you have to remove the metal "S" shaped piece inside the dashboard to fit the double DIN.
This damn piece caused me sleepless nights.....and it's only
there to old some cables..

If you need help, let me know...
