Unhappy

Just noticed today the fabric on my driver's seat has a hole in it (bucket job)
Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Can it be fixed?
Did speak to a coachtrimmer who has done work for the local dealer he thought the cover is one piece and can't be repaired and suggested i might have to buy a new seat.I hate to think how much that would cost !
I've seen seats for sale on the S.net but it's usually a pair or the interior!

Thanks in advance

Just bought a MY99 turbo and the drivers seat has a sig burn or something in the side. One company stated that the fabric is glued to the padding making it rather difficult to repair. I'm going to try a couple more local companies then if no joy i'm going to have a look at this from Halfords and see if I can do it myself, just to stop it getting any worse. Any thoughts of the subject would be much apprenticed.
