i've got 3 autometer lunar gauges to fit & need advice please.

1) boost... is it right i need an adaptor to fit pipe to nipple on manifold?

2) air/fuel ratio...the violet wire, i understand this is to be connected to a wire off the ecu, if so what colour?

3) oil press.... where does the oil pressure sender connect to?

i hope someone can make sense of this as i am keen to get it fitted on my my00.

dave.

1. You will need a "Y" splitter. Usually there made out of plastic
2. Not sure on that
3. There should be a spot under the intercooler. Look for a hex type screw into the block.

My boost (Autometer) gauge doesn't use an adaptor. It's just stuffed in, and works perfectly.

Brun, the MY97 is a phase 1 engine and has the boost take off needed for a gauge!

Pre MY97 you will need to "T" or "Y" in to the boost line.
Post MY97 (straight intercooler)there should be a black rubber sleave in one of the take off points on top of the manifold. Use a hose straight from this to the gauge!!!

daveK,
What year is the car? The ECU's are different depending on the year and model (UK/WRX/STI).

Oil pressure? Now I've done this!!!! But I can't remember
Might be worth posting in General Tech or Drivetrain?

Iain.

iain, its a year 2000 uk model with an 802 ecu.
As for the boost pipe i've found where it goes and it seems i need a bit of pipe to act as a sleeve.
The oil sender still as me stumped though.
