Cool

Hi Jaay, just had the drivers seat repaired out of a 2000 Sti. The outer cover of the seat is glued to the sponge inner. I found it impossible to split the cover from the back and ended up having a professional trimmer do the job for me and it did'nt cost alot of money, hope this helps

Hi,

Did they reapir it with original cloth... i.e my 2000 interior is wearing on the drivers side seat and i've tried every where but the cloth Subaru uses is basically not avaiable so if i want it repairing the cloth wont match .

Tony.

Hmm ,looks like its going to be akward then, surprise surprise. I have a Ltd Sti and one of its features is Colin Macraes Signature embroided on both front seats. Its fading and I wanted it re-embroided, so its just the back support parts of the seats. Mine seems to have zips around the 'holed' part of the headrest, so its not possable to unzip the cover ?? What did it cost you for the repair btw, I dont think there will be anyone local to me that would do this sort of thing either.

Sigh
