I urgently need to know where I can find those brackets that hold the ICE in place on the picture below??
I just received my double DIN unit and was wondering if these holders are available at any Subaru dealer or any car hifi shop??
If anybody has a reference/part number, I would be extremely grateful!!!

griffm,

no problem, I already found the brackets I need.

The surround can be removed by opening the armrest lid, remove the 2 plastic covers (over the 2 screws), unscrew them and remove the plastic handbrake cover.

After unscrew the gear lever and pull out the whole gear lever surround.

Now you should be able to pull out the surround and there's a big chance that you're gonna lose at least 1 of the 4 metal clips (2 up and 2 down) that hold the thing in place (usually as in Murphy's law, the clip is gonna fall down somewhere in the dashboard at a place where you will never find it again, so be sure you have some spares ready (available at your dealer)

If you need more details, let me know....
