Boost Gauge?

I'm thinking about a Dawes device, and obviously i require a boost gauge. From what i can tell they vary massively in price. Is there gonna be any difference between a £30 one and a £130 (HKS, Blitz etc) one, other that price. I would assume that 15psi on a cheap one will still be 15 psi on an expensive one? I wouldn't want to buy a cheap one and set my Dawes to 17 psi peak, only to find my 17 psi is actually 19 psi.
Thanks in advance.

Im not sure about this. i think people just buy Blitz gauges cause of the name or they look better?? They must both do the same job!

in most cases you get what you pay for,the higher end of the spectrum usually has extra features like memory recall, the lower end is usually just a basic gauge with a fluttering needle thats hard to read, we just sell middle of the range gauges that are manufactured in the UK, if you want something thats big, easy to read and highly accurate then we sell a 63mm white boost gauge with 1 psi increments, goes up to 40psi (£55). our stock 52mm gauges are 2 1/2 bar or 30psi (£40), all the gauges are tested and have to meet the required parrameters of plus or minus 1psi across the whole scale (ie -30 +30 = 60psi, 1% of this is .6 )cheers nomad
