Went to Tesco yesterday (in the "normal shopper"'s absence on a potteries trip), and bought some Auto Glym interior cleaner.
Seems to have done the trick, except that it p*ssed down just after I finished, so I couldn't leave it open to dry off. Grrrrrr

Question

Dan, yeh, that was prob me. At the mo, I'm after a V5 sti spoiler, found one in primer, gfr, but it's going to cost £200 to get it sprayed.
Know any good sprayshops that'll do it cheaper, and ANYWHERE to get the Prodrive suspension setting put on, around our fair(?????)town?

alcazar,

I got mine done in scunny for £130, and that was metalic silver too at a very good place for spraying, they do crash damage repairs...Its a place called 'sheet metal' and is next to AE cooks do you know where i mean...

You could also get it done in town by a lad who runs his own body shop and has done body kits for various cars that have been magazine featured... its called bens one stop body shop and he will probablt charge about £100... he has experiance in spraying GRP too...

I may no a lad who can do it for you cheap, very cheap... im getting my front bymper and splitter done by him at the moment, if its good i will ask him if he wants to do yours... or come have a look at mine when its done and see what you think...!!!

It is only costing my £70 to get the whole bumper and splitter done... and i got my paint from humberside paints for £17 for half a litre...!!

Let us know..!!

Well that sounds pretty good, a lot better than what I've been quoted. I was almost at the stage when I'd decided not to bother, as the spraying was going to cost more than the spoiler.
Yours is not the WRX near Ferry Road is it? There's a silver one near there that I know of. Have you seen the red Cossie Escort with private plate that's in town at the mo?
I'll go and get the spoiler tomorrow after all if it's OK, then I'll be in touch. Alcazar

Cool

He found out what was up with my mum, when no-one else could, back in the 70's. Also did exploration on me when I picked up a dose of para-typhoid at Uni.
Went to his house on BWL for first consultation..............
