Question

Has anyone done this?

If I ever get my changer, I am thinking of putting it there.
May need to hack the plastic though.

Thanks

A snippet from www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm...
Some owners with aftermarket Hi-Fi equipment, have managed to fit smaller CD units inside the (unlockable) glove box, although it is apparently a very tight fit. The only known unit to fit comfortably without excessive modification is the Alpine CHA-S604. Dimensions being (HxWxD) 6 x 25 x 15.3cm.

Under the pax seat is probably a better bet.

yes, we have a complete ICE system in our MY00 with an Alpine 6 disc changer in the glove box - fitted with only a small ammount of hacking plastic and looks great.

Mail enquiries@scoobyworld.co.uk for pictures.

hope that helps!

Thanks - will send the email.

Don't really want the changer undeer the seat or in the boot, as it makes it difficult to get at. (not to mention getting kicked under the pax seat. (It does happen when there is a car full - I seem to have big footed passengers in the back!.)

Hope to have the changer in the next couple of weeks. Why ever did I bother waiting for new products? I could be listening to CDs in the car now.
