Query here about Defi gauges - does anybody know what size bulb is used inside for illumination ? I'm looking to update the bulb to a bright LED blue bulb, but need to know if a 10mm bulb will fit inside before the gauge is pulled apart ! How easy is it to pull them apart as well ?

Any help much appreciated.

I was going to do the same to match my blue dash, when I got hold of some defi’s there were 2 screws at the back which if you remove allow the gauge mechanism to rattle around in the pod, if you want to remove the mechanism from the pod you need to peel back the stainless steel bezel around the out side. I thought I could probably do it but it wouldn’t look as good as did before I started, so I left it.

Also the defi’s use led’s so you would have to unsolder the led and put in a blue one
If you find a way let me know.
