Hi all,
Just a quick thread to ask if anyone knows how to get scratches off of the interior trim.
I had two quite large scratches on the glove box of my old MY99 which always bugged me, but no matter how much I polished it with interior cleaner it still showed. Anyone got any ideas how to hide scratches???
Thanks muchly.
Gareth

Someone asked this in a different forum a few days ago and Mark Underwood (aka the Wax Wizard) reckoned he was brewing up something that would sort the problem out. You could try and look back for the post or seek his contact details. I have recently used some Simoniz interior polish which has hidden some scratches but not others - also it smelt of chemical strawberries which is a bit minging
Hope this helps

Sorry for swearing but have you tried those repair kits in Halfords?
They do all sorts now from interior trim through to bumper repair kits. I used one on a family members car for a ciggy burn in the seat, it wasn't bad, slightly off colour but not bad.
Nathan..

Cheers guys,
Need to go to bed now but i'll have a hunt around on the BB in the morning. I have nothing serious in the way of scratches yet on my new MY02 apart from a tiny one just under the door handle where I missed with the screwdriver and stabbed my hand and the door panel.
Cheers for now
