Question

OK, have seen Chiark's guide to fitting a boost gauge but I have the older shape which differs under the bonnet...

Can anyone give me their experiences of similar models please? I have searched past threads but most are for newer models / centre pods.

In front of my intercooler I have three rubber tubes, I think the left is the one I split with T piece and attach the gauge tubing.

The things I'm not sure about are how the tubing / wiring goes from the inside of the footwell up into the A pillar where I will mount it. Does the A pillar trim just pull off to leave a gap through?

Also, on the MY95 should it still be wired to the back of the fog light switch, and how is best to splice the cable and join the gauge wire(s).

Thanks in advance...
Paul

Paul,

I have the t-piece coming off the centre of the 3 pipes, then it goes through the brackets for the intercooler, then behind the clutch cylinder and finally into the cabin through the grommet, I think it's between the clutch and brake cylinders. Be carefull not to bend the pipe too tightly or it might kink. The A-pillar trim is just held on by clips so will pull off. I run power wires over to the cigarette lighter socket.

Thanks for the info - will use the same location for the tubing.

Cheers
