Hawk Centre Console - Red illumination
I've got a 2003 JDM STI with red dash cluster and all the red Defi's going on and have seen a face lift centre console as per late Blobs and Hawks with red illuminations.
Most of the time I've seen them with green, but with the red was this an actual thing brought out for a specific model or did I just see someone that's modified the green to become red??

on the video he uses 3 LED's the ones I ordered are flat ended which gives a wide spread of light, also ultra bright 12V this is with just 1 LED as a test, going to try a second in these to see if it is any more RED as it is still shining through the green plastic filter

hi pal,
I've been wanting to do this to my car since i got it. Would you mind dropping in a link for the LEDs you used?
Is there any tips you'd reccomend after doing this yourself, or is the video pretty spot on?
Cheers

Hi matey
The video is pretty much spot on, I only used 1 LED per dial not 3, and a small dot of super glue to hold in place.
These are the LED's

Looks spot on mate. Looks like I'll be doing this next time I have some time off.
Did you try it with 2 LEDS and was there any difference?
Andy.

Hi,
No I didn't bother with two, after a bit of playing around with the location of one it looked OK, so went with one.
A lot less faff with wires too....
