Default Single gauge wiring

Morning all

Planning to fit my single boost gauge and pod i bought from scoobyworld, I have read loads of threads about gauge fitting but they are all for triple pod set up and everyone uses the clock loom for the wiring. Is this still the easiest for me me too? Was just going to scotch lock into the clock loom.

Any advise would be appreciated

Or take the live feed from the fuse box and earth to dash board frame.

Scotch-loks aren't the best. Strip a little of the wire, wind the new wire round, use a tiny bit of solder nipped onto it in a U shape, touch from underneath with soldering iron, tape up.
