Also is this the diagnostic port? Not sure if its been messed with or the wires have come loose?

The last one is defo a OBD socket (diagnostics). Wiring does look a bit bodged, hard to say.

Other connectors could be anything may even be like that from the factory for different options/extras. Like a flux capacitor

Agree the last one is OBD 2 and by the looks of it have been hacked to bits? Did you check the history on the car ?

The white one in picture one looks like its part of the clock spring but I cant quite make it out can you do another image zoomed out

As has been said the black one looks like the OBD data link connector.

The grey one is the check connector and has two earth connectors taped to the loom just above it.

The white 8 pin connector (7 pins used) is a bit of a mystery as there are (AFAIK) no OEM white 8pin "all in a row" connectors.
Given the cable ties shown behind it, it could be for something "After Market" that has been removed.

It's an additional port linked to the data link connector and other items.

Also used for diagnostics with the Subaru Select Monitor (SSM) system (airbag /Cruise control diagnostics etc.)

Usually mounted on a bracket

Just to update this thread the obd2 port that is pictured above does not fit into the actual trim under the dash so this must be the wrong obd2 but im still baffed as to why this would have been put in?

Im trying to explain this to an auto sparky so he can remove this one and replace with the correct one.

Tbh I have no idea! I was kinda hoping the auto electrician would be able to answer that.

It just doesn't make sense why the wrong one has been grafted in?

Speaker is either a old-style phone handsfree kit (back in the days of the Nokia 6310 and Motorola V60 when bluetooth and parrot kits didn't exist ), or a trafficmaster.

Mine is a tracker as it has rang a couple of times. First time I thought I was going mad and hearing things! Lol

Ah cheers guys,

Wonder if it was a dealer fit, as mine is exactly the same as that one. Think I might try and remove that and the old tracker at some point.
