Default Classic momo steering wheel swap

I have a momo steering wheel with airbag installed on a 99 2.0ltr impreza awd which was easy enough to take off. The mounts are the same on my 96 model however the airbag connectors are different. Does anyone know if i am able to get an adapter or maybe even swap the connectors over somehow. Can upload pics if anyone requires.

Cheers for any advise

I realise this post is a month old now, but I did similar, fitting a later (not sure what year) Momo steering wheel in place of my '97 non-momo airbag wheel. I had to cut the airbag connector and solder it onto the new wheel - however, to do this I managed to source a replacement 'squib' connector for the airbag so I could solder it without it actually being connected to the airbag and then just plug it in. The only way I could get hold of the squib was to buy them in bulk, so I've got some spares if you want to do the same thing and need one. Looks like this:

Oh and they're a one-time-only fit - you can't remove them without damaging them, hence the reason for needing to replace it after removing it from the old airbag.
