Hi all,

Has anybody removed the passenger airbag from a gc8 facelift dash?

I did have the cubby hole airbag delete section but had the opportunity to get an alcantara trimmed dash. Now I have a passenger airbag that is heavy and unusable so I want to remove it and keep the alcantara trimmed cover.

Can this be done and how? It seems to be held on by grabbers. I would rather this than carry an unnecessary airbag or get the cubby recovered.
