hey folks looking to get my gauges installed soon

i would like to be able to put the control unit in the rear console compartment

the power wire will have to be extended which i am happy with

i could be wrong but im sure the boost sender and both oil wires will not be able to reach the rear compartment

are these okay to cut near the end of the wire to the control box?

and would a 20 gauge wire suffice ?

Defi sell longer ones.

I suppose you could cut and insert a piece, try to stick to the same sort/thickness of wire.

And DO both solder AND heatshrink all joints.

Personally, I'd do it right and buy longer wires.
