Egger Lawson - 0115 941 5255. They provide cover for most people on the SIDC track events.

Premiums will vasry depending on the amount of cover required, and the excess. More cover, lower excess = higher premiums. Most people seem to go for the £55 option, which gives about £5k cover with a £1k excess.

I'll also move this to the insurance forum.

Question

I reckon, but may get shouted down for this that if you stack it on track there is a fair chance your gonna write it off, if not, itll be a ding that you can fix out of your own wallet

most of the stuff Ive seen on track has fitted this bill, so I would want full cover for totalizing my car and be prepared to pick up the little dings myself.....

I use the Eggar Lawson £80 for £8000 cover with £1000 excess. If it is a total loss, then some parts might be salvaged, but most track incidents are in the £1-8K range. A replacement MY99/00 would not be massively more - maybe £10K for an import MY99. Just offsetting potential losses.
