Now I don't go on moaning a lot but felt this was not right.

Advised my brother to give them a call as I heard they may be useful in giving him a decent quote. He has bought an RS3. He said he called them and asked if he could get a quote, His postcode was taken and then he was placed on hold,

15 Minutes later, same person checked to see if he was still there and placed on hold again,

33 minutes later, phone was hung up.......

Why couldn't they just say either they are busy or they would get back to him or they could not quote him.

rant over

Have a nice day.

You should of spoke to Gary Moulson
Well documented he is the god of Subaru insurance
My Greenwagon £210
Been with him for years
I ring up and never had to wait more then a minute or two
So can't really understand 33 minutes

Probably turn Into another 3/4 pager with Gary hundreds of loyal fans saying what a great bloke he is with great prices and great service

No need to rant
Tell him to try again and ask for Gary this time

And the money he saved he can pop in a charity box as scoobynet followers will of saved him money I'm sure

Have a nice day

I am

I have spoken with Gary in the past for my Subaru and he was spot on and truthful, cant fault him other than he is extremely busy and does take a few calls to get through.

Apologies your brother was left on hold and cut off.

Unfortunately we are very short staffed at the moment, and we have a couple of temps in to get the phones and pass messages accross.... and they are still learning the phone system.

If he still needs a quote feel free to pm me a number to contact him on, and i'll give him a call.

Ive had very similar experiences and heard plenty of others with similar complaints. It went a tad further with me - I cancelled my policy within 2 weeks on phone and written via recored mail and they claimed to have never known about it. I was left £175 out of pocket with not so much as a sorry. Great customer service.
