Its been a long time since I had my first impreza insured back when I was 22.

I'm now 25 with 2 years ncb no points/convictions. But things appear to be worse.... :S

I've read a lot of the old post here in this part of the forum but none seem to give ages and price details together so I cant compare.

All quotes so far are over 1k and thats just too much imo for a classic wrx, or is this the right sort of price?

I was 24 when I got my first Impreza and my insurance was £1600 for the first year and that was with 5 years NCB.

After that I was insured through Keith Michaels Insurance thanks to Gary on here (Moley_WRX) and it's never been above £1000 since. I'm currently paying around £780 for a 2008 WRX STI Hatch.

All in all not bad considering my postcode

You'll need almost every details to make an accurate comparison, eg mods, mileage allocation, postcode, where the vehicle is kept over night, named drivers etc etc
