Default NCB advise please

I took out a trade policy 8 months ago and used my private ncb on it to get the discount. I have only had the policy 8 months and things are not working out at the minute as known seem to be buying little round arounds
I have heard stories about people losing their private no claims bonus after having the trade for even 1 year, i assume as they incurred a trade NCB.
Will i be ok to use mine if i cancel the trade policy since it only lapsed 8 months? i wont gain any trade ncb at all obviously and private ncb is valid for 2 years regardless?
thankyou very much for the advice

Your private car NCB is free to use for a 2 year period.

Ok thanks for the reply Ollie, was just abit worried i would have lost them from using the private ncb on the trade policy.
I rang you company not too long ago fro a quote but was told you dont cover M postcodes. I will be moving soon and just wanted to know if WA postcodes were something you covered? pm if you want

thanks again

No probs.

Yes, no problem with the WA postcode area as long as you have off road parking at the home address.

Thanks
