Default Multicar how dose it work

Would it be cheaper to have a multicar policy as I've got 1.6 bugeye but I'm after wrx for myself and keep 1.6 for the miss, I'm 22 4 years no claims and the miss is 20, would it be cheaper to have separate policy's or go for a multicar

it worked out cheaper for me to have a multi car policy from admiral for me and the mrs on both my wrx and her fiesta with business class 2 aswell

do the quote online mate as when i tried to do a quote over the phone with them it was £300 more and remember with admiral if you have a tracker fitted it makes your insurance MORE EXPENSIVE same as if you keep it in a garage

It should work out cheaper on the multicar. As far as admiral made me aware, you both have seperate policies but you just receive a discount for both being insured with them.
Though I did find that where they have been price matching for me on a seperate policy with other companies, it worked out cheaper for my other half on the multicar but more expensive for me.

Your insurance would be void for giving incorrect details. Not worth the risk/hassle if anything was to happen.

What's the cheapest quote you've had? Have you looked around at different sites?

Your location is possibly why it's so high unfortunately.

Areas in and around Birmingham are experiencing huge amounts of claims.

Ouch! I know when I tried a couple of years a go, so 22, I was getting quotes of about £2200, that was with 5 years no claims. If you're sharing cars, have you looked at what the prices are by putting your missus as the main driver of the wrx and you as the bug?

Have you looked at this before;
http://www.carinsuranceexplained.com...risk-list.html

Gives you an idea of what risk your postcode is.

12k, that's ridiculous, they may as well just said they won't cover. I haven't got a clue about trade policies though I'm afraid!!

I won't as my policy is legit, with correct details and declarations. Most others are the same too.
