Default Multicar how dose it work

Would it be cheaper to have a multicar policy as I've got 1.6 bugeye but I'm after wrx for myself and keep 1.6 for the miss, I'm 22 4 years no claims and the miss is 20, would it be cheaper to have separate policy's or go for a multicar

it worked out cheaper for me to have a multi car policy from admiral for me and the mrs on both my wrx and her fiesta with business class 2 aswell

do the quote online mate as when i tried to do a quote over the phone with them it was £300 more and remember with admiral if you have a tracker fitted it makes your insurance MORE EXPENSIVE same as if you keep it in a garage

It should work out cheaper on the multicar. As far as admiral made me aware, you both have seperate policies but you just receive a discount for both being insured with them.
Though I did find that where they have been price matching for me on a seperate policy with other companies, it worked out cheaper for my other half on the multicar but more expensive for me.

£5500 so there cheap lol that's with me and the miss on the 1.6 and me on wrx as a solo I've had cheaper quotes separately

Your insurance would be void for giving incorrect details. Not worth the risk/hassle if anything was to happen.

Yeah I know mate it's just a mine field, especially when there younger drivers than me with less no claims getting quotes half the price I can get just baffles me how the prices can varey so much

What's the cheapest quote you've had? Have you looked around at different sites?

Yeah bin on all the compare sites and the likes of tesco, direct line and cheapest if found is £4500 and that's with 4y no claims an no convictions and that's just on a wrx didn't even look at a sti

Your location is possibly why it's so high unfortunately.

Areas in and around Birmingham are experiencing huge amounts of claims.

Ouch! I know when I tried a couple of years a go, so 22, I was getting quotes of about £2200, that was with 5 years no claims. If you're sharing cars, have you looked at what the prices are by putting your missus as the main driver of the wrx and you as the bug?

Yeah with the miss as main driver it was 12k lol she only 20 tho with 1y no claim what company do trade policy

12k, that's ridiculous, they may as well just said they won't cover. I haven't got a clue about trade policies though I'm afraid!!

We won't talk about what's legal and what's not on here we will get our heads took off haha but I'm sure there's ways to enjoy sti power legally lol
