Insurance Subaru Impreza insurance can be expensive, as with any performance car insurance. But the cheapest car insurance isn't always the best. Share your quotes, and experiences.

Default Pace Ward

Insurance is due 1st December, surprised that my best quote is Pace Ward at present, all mods declared:-

Pace Ward £610 Fully comp, 400 xcess, legal, like for like on mods, coutesy car, protected NCB the works

A-plan £658 with 400 xcess

Greenlight £669 with a £350 xcess

Sky £672 with a £250 xcess

Keith Micheals hopefully tomorrow.

Surprised that Pace Ward who are not tied into Subaru's could beat the Scoobynet insurers (so far). Never really seen their name mentioned much on here and wondering if they are good for the majority of SN members?

Jsut had Gary ring me as he apparently had a few spare minutes - spoke to him last week (and got through first time). His quote is £589 all in with a £350 xcess and all the previous bells and whistles - I did not think that anyone would beat Pace Ward but Mr Moulson has come up top trumps.

Many thanks Gary, very pleased with my quote - £41 cheaper than my best insurance for last year! Thought insurance had gone up?

Spoke to Clare at A-plan today and she has, to be fair, made a real effort and matched Moley's quote like for like - price xcess and so on and has even negotiated with the underwriters to cover future engine rebuild and the extra power that goes with it at no extra cost - very impressed with the effort and final result.

Didn't think anyone would match Moley's deal but there you go.

A little awkward as I now have two great quotes from two people who have made a real effort but better than bad quotes and no effort I suppose.

Many thanks for the effort Clare.
