Default Expensive quote?

Is this renewal price silly?

Car:- 2004 04, WRX saloon, standard apart from tinted windows and after market backbox.

Me:- 44, clean licence for over 10 years, 9k miles pa, 10 years NCB, driveway, good postcode, RG24

Quote is £646 then add hire car and IPT and it comes to just over £700

Time to shop around .....

Doesn't sound good to me. I've just renewed through Moley and even though it's gone up nearly 14% this year, it's still under half your quote.

Give Gary a ring

Anyone had any experience with 1st Central insurance as there price is in the low £400's.
I'm totally shocked at the prices. If I can't get it under £500 then it'll be going in the garage with a dust sheets ....

Yes, your correct. On this occasion, google was my friend and after reading some reviews they have the worst reviews I've ever read and all of them seem down to incompetence.

To date, I've had quotes from all of the guys from here and there all pretty much the same ranging from £550-599. I'm still deciding to either sling it in the garage with the dust sheets or bite the bullet and do it but for the amount of time I do use it's easier to do the later. Oh well .......
