Question

anyone approached tesco over trackday cover, i went to aulton park last year but paid £150 to insure my car for the day making the overall cost too much! I am hoping they allow for it in the policy - but i think i am dreaming!

I dont fancy 'taking a chance' as i got over excited on the last corner last time and spun ending 4ft from the barrier!

Cheers

They told me I was covered under my policy as long as there were not any more than 2 other cars on the track??

I took my chances.

Hope all those insured with Tesco have checked the small print - you are not insured for theft unless you have a tracking device.

It wasn't mentioned until I brought it up, after signing up - so I changed to Barclays.

Greenlight sounds best at the mo.

Just to confirm what hoojal has said - Tesco would not quote me unless I had a tracker type device fitted....

.....when I went online and got a quote (with tracker fitted), it was over a hundred quid cheaper than my renewal

A tracker is also needed for Direct Line /Privilege quotes on my MY01 WRX

Exclamation

would recomend:

a: call them up and find out.
b: get it in writing cos the call wont count for diddly if you stack it and try to claim later.

Doubt it will be covered, they will most likely say it isnt over the phone. Check the easytrack website or bookatrack for cover options

Not had time to yet, might have a read tomorrow.
