Default What has happened to insurance prices?

Ive had two scoobs in the past, the sti v1 cost me 900 a year and the t2000 cost me 990 a year. So why now a year later, been driving 7 years with 4 yrs ncb, 24 yrs old wont anyone touch me off the comparison websites for tpft for less than 1500 squid on a terzo? My days of paying idiotic premiums like that were over years ago? Anyone have Any ideas? Cheers.

Suppose that would explain the steep increase. Maybe if these bull**** acvident injury specialists stop suing everything and everyone insurance companies would perhaps stop being greedy. 4 months until im 25, i can sorn until then i guess. I haye how they dont take into accoubt things like i drive 44 tonne artics everyday amounting to about 50ft long, covering 2500 mile a week yet stick you in a 10 ft subaru with a teeny bit of poke and thats it..... Rant over hehe

insurance prices seem to have increased across the board, my mate 45yo 20+yrs no claims was quoted £460 for a '94 volvo 850 only worth £300, the companies say it's because there's so much fraud in personal injury claims. Apparently the chaps that tow your car away after a crash are selling your details to personal injury companies who then call you and convince you to claim for whiplash as it can't be proven either way, £5K a pop
I lost 2 yrs no calims when some bitch claimed against me even though i told them it was bogus (chaucer insurance idiots avoid) they paid it without even asking for proof of damage or visiting her car or mine but they still want bigger profits hence all prices up, share and enjoy lol
