Default Classic Type R vs. Classic Type RA

Hi guys,

I have only briefly looked at insurance for both of the above cars on Admiral.

Just wondering if it was a regular thing for the Type RA's to be more expensive to cover? Difference was around £200 if i remember rightly.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

You may not see such a difference when speaking to a specialist insurer..

In the past the Type R used to be slightly more expensive, but they are pretty much the same these days.
