Default Expensive renewal premium

Hi,

Got my renewal through, £930 quid. I think thats rather expensive given the fact that I only do 3500-4000 miles a year. A mileage I can prove.

Im 34 years old, living in reasonable postcode area. 2004 plate wrx with ppp on. 5 yrs no claims and no points.

Given the fact that I only really drive the vehicle at the weekend and the odd commute to work I think paying the best part of a grand is a lot.

Whats everyone else paying whos around my age. I tried admiral and they quoted 1,200.
