Sounds high considering your ncb. I'm 26 with 4 years ncb, 3 points, 3 non fault accidents and Moley said a Scoob would be about £680 for me.

Also DO NOT post your full postcode on here, come on it's a bit thick fella.

That's pretty cheap, considering. I'll have to call up KM see if they can better Admirals £1150 quote on my soon to be '95 Wagon STI. 1 year NCB and I'm 25. Wish I'd have gone on my own insurance earlier but Uni costs

Tbh £1150 for 1 year ncb sounds a fair price. It's not just about age as Moley told me, it's about risk. Even though people have crashed into me three times in 5 years I'm considered good risk because my insurers get everything back due to non fault. So I have a safe 4-5 years ncb

At 25 you may be a safer bet than many younger drivers (the chav trumpet and lexus light brigade ) bit with only one year ncb you haven't that 'history' as it were. That's my take on it.

That does seem high as it's only a WRX. I'm the same age and the same no claims so it must be the post code.

you obviously aren't looking hard enough as BH8 is classed as "a" on this list. http://www.carinsuranceexplained.com...risk-list.html

My postoced is a "b" and I've been quoted around £680-700 for a WRX or STi. I've got 4 years NCB 3 non fault accidents, 3 points for a TS10 oh and I'm 26

The quote was off Moley after we discussed it when I come back into Subaru ownership. Currently I'm paying about £450 on my luxobarge Merc (which I actually bought off Moleys dad ), but I'm with Co-operative.

Hi I am not yet a scooby owner but I am looking (tried 5 so far).

I'm 40, had my license forever, no points, accidents claims for over 5 years. In most cases longer. My best quote is just under £800 for a standard 03 WRX with tracker. I'm in the PR8 postcode area (D).

Is that why it is high?

have you tried upping your excess with admiral? that generally brings your premium down and if you don't have any bumps it makes no difference
