Remote Start
So long as the car remains locked it is fine, it is the same as a turbo timer. Cliffords new alarm system has inbuilt remote start, and that is Thatcham approved.
If your keys are left in or on the vehicle, and the vehicle is stolen, then it is a different story altogether and you probably aren't covered for theft, but all insurers pretty much carry that endorsement now.
Regards
Chris

OK, so (as it happens) I am insured with you, very happy with it too .. if I remove my CAT1 and fit a none CAT1 alarm/Imm .. with remote start .. (if the doors stay locked) am I looking (in a general sense) in a increase in premium ?
