Default Making a claim

Hi all just had an accident got rear ended by someone thank god only in my runaround. This is the first time ive been in an accident and not sure what to do.

I've taken all the details from the guy whos hit me.

Obviously I will call my insurance company and tell them, since the guy has said its his fault do I just leave it to the insurance companies to sort it out? Do I have any excess to pay?

Thanks

Yes you'll have excess to pay but if it's all his fault you can claim it back from his insurer.
