Default ~Sky Insurance ?

Insurance renewals came through today and very disappointed......

Currently with A-plan who are IMO excellent but premiums gone up from circa £550 - £725 on the car and £380 - £440 on the Van (private not comm)

Previously insured by KM when I had the subaru but won't quote on the Astra VXR Nurburgring. Claim stats appear to be dreadfull ... actually wonder how many Astra VXR's have been written off and how many Burg's are left on the road . . .

So far I've not been able to beat the quote on the van think it's very expensive for a low value diesel astravan I've owned for 3 years . . . always struggled to get good quotes on this vehicle. Not really much joy on the VXR either, Real headache.

Really want to keep both vehicles with the same insurer. Anyone insured with SkyIns? never heard of them before

Well, rang sky today. Spoke to a very nice guy who's name escapes me but I'm afraid the quotes were still a bit high.

Luke @ A-plan has received my repeat business after all. Always good to deal with - worth the bit extra it cost over greenlights quotation.

Interestingly though greenlight offered trackday cover with my policy at £50 an event which I did think was an excellent extra!
