Default anyone used E CAR insurance?

Hi, has anyone here used e car insurance? theres loads of bad review for them on internet but they are so cheap! anyone at all? cheers

I use asda online exclusive if that's the one you mean?

Found them quite good to deal with so far though ain't had to claim at all so far (touch wood)

Only thing that might put some people off is most of the communication is done via email though I find they usually reply within 5 minutes so never been a problem for me.

Overall I'd recommend them

same here,i was e car for 2 years and never had a problem! all done over internet,got all documents etc quickly and when i had details to change or anything else,although done through email it was all sorted quickly and very well!
only reason i moved insurers was because my insurance went up for no real reason and i got it cheaper else where!

I was with Ecar for 2 years as well. They were really good when I had someone pull into my old Scoob back in April 2007.

When I got insurance with them in December 2006 after purchasing my Scoob they quoted me £1750 fully comp for a 22 year old male, no NCB and only 9 months driving experience.

how are they with modifications? do the premiums go up a lot?
