Default SDP + C question

Quick question regarding the commuting part of SDP+C cover:
I'm considering a new job which will pay my fuel and about 35p a mile to work out of two sites. How do I stand as far as the "to and from a single place of work" and also, as I'm being paid fuel & mileage does that mean I should be extending the cover to include business mileage too?

Many thanks,
Rob

You'll probably find they'll want to see a certificate stating you have business use before they pay you the 35p per mile.

Right ok so I do need that then?

If they don't ask me, am I still covered if I use the car and something happens? I mean, is it a requirement?

I'd suggest that if it's two places of work business use might be the better idea, especially if you have to travel between those offices during the day.

Think you'll find if you check the expenses claim form you will have to sign each week/month, it will clearly state that you confirm that you are covered by business use, mine certainly does...

Thanks guys, adding the business use makes a significant difference to my premium, I'll have to consider that in my decision.

Thanks again,
Rob
