Exclamation

My insurance is up for renewal at the end of the month and I've been ringing around. I've got the odd 'we won't insure you' to the idiotic £2k+ quotes.

A real suprise was that Liverpool victoria/ Frizzel won't touch me! And people rate them highly on here? :/

Best quote so far is Tesco's at £1188.60 with £250 excess. I'm 27 with 5 years NCB.

Well pleased! Will still try Chris Knott and Greenlight tomorrow but don't hold out any hope of bettering it.

Talking

Just spoke with Greenlight and it just gets better! They quoted me £1060. Excess is slightly higher though at £450.

Chris Knott and Schofields to go, come on!!!

Phoned Chris Knott.

Apparently they are not taking on anymore Impreza's until a meeting next tuesday to discuss the situation.

Just a quick suggestion.

Have you tried Endsleigh I found them £200 cheaper than Tesco and they accept mods.

Schofield's could get nowhere near my quotes either from Tesco or Direct Line. They did try hard though

Mine's a STi7 Prodrive with performance exhaust. £1050 including NCP

I'd take tesco's quote, i assume they are including protected no claims which normally adds £150 on to the price of the std quote. I am 24 with a MY97 + 5yr NCD livin in a 'nice' part of liverpool and i pay £1200 so you are doin well! - Maybe its time 4 me to move to a less high risk part of the country? - P1 here is £2100 for me to insure (same as an STI02 strangely!)....
