Insurance Dilema......
I'm in a dilema about what options I have open to me....
1 - I own a scoob, which I insure with Admiral at then moment. I use my 8yrs NCB with this policy.
2 - I'm changing my company car, and taking a car allowance instead. This means I have to obviously insure a car myself.
3 - The problem lies that even though Admiral will give me a little discount (or so they say with there 'multicar policy'), my premium for a second car is sky high. They state my 8 yrs NCB is purely only used on scoob, and I have to start again on another car. This means it will cost me £800/pa to insure a group 13 car.
Do I have any other option? or bite my lip/tongue and just pay it. Can I approach another company for insurance? Can I take out another policy on another car with a different company? Never had the situation before.......

Moley, do you mean IF I had both cars with the same insurer? or could I leave my scoob policy with admiral (6 months left) and use a broker to find a policy with someone else & mirror the NCB???? Thanks......

Depends on the insurer, but most don't need to have to first car insured already

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply Moley, I will have a ring around and see what I can do. I suppose I could also ring you to see if you can do anything for my second car! Thanks again.
