Chip,
Prodrive version no premium increase over standard UKSTi7
Rang Tesco's ( don't do online as will get pos get silly quote) and my quote for Prodrive STi7 £548 (£20 lower tha my modded UK99) age 47 Told them of mods being lowered, Morrettes and fog lights so the increased the premium by £112 to £660
As no fog lights available yet I canncelled and reduced the premium by £37.

Tony, Are you 100% sure the quote is for the UKsti Prodrive with Tesco. Have phoned them myself and they told me after speaking to their underwriters that they would not insure this car. Do you have anything in writing from them stating model of car.
Cheapest Ive got is from Chris Knott at £860 inc Business use.

I'm insured on-line with elephant.co.uk. With protected no claims, and the optional hire car cover (an extra £25), the premium was still under £600. I've been very pleased with the service so far.
Putting my wife on the policy as a named driver reduced the premium by about £40.
I did try Tom, but despite his best efforts, he couldn't quite match the price.

I having the same problems as everyone else with getting quotes for my forthcoming Sti7. Tescoes quoted me £747 for Sti7 and £727 for my lightly modded Turbo. Best so far is £722 for both Sti7 and Turbo from Chris Knott. Frizell's quoted £545 for Turbo, but didn't recognise Sti7.
Incidently, Schofields were uncompetetive for me since my girlfirend has a SP30 which resulted in a 56% loading!!!!!

Chip,
I've rang them twice to once to tell of mods and then to cancell some. Both times I specificly asked the question, as the policy states UK STI, that mine is a Prodrive version they both times check with a supervisor and said O/K as "only cosmeticaly different" their words not mine
I'll ring them again as little things like that make a big difference I will let you know how I get on
