If I manage to sell my Scoob and need to insure the next car which should be cheaper to insure. Do I just cancel my existing insurance and get a refund, or what?

cheers,

greg

Thats the usual way yes. Some insurance companies need some persuasion to make a refund though, so check first with them. But they might even be able to offer a competitive rate on your new car to keep your business.

Check your policy booklet, you don't normaly get back what you are owed. On a policy I had after 9 months you didn't get anything back.

couldnt you just tell your existing insurance company that you sold the scoob and you got a new car. Then they will work out the rest of your cover and you dont lost your NCBs or your money??
