+1 for gary (moley). tbh though i think a rise of £200 is not too bad, my insurer ( prudential) went up by a third!!!!

Moley for moi. Didn't matter that I'm not currently in a Scoob. He still beat the best quote on my 205GTi by over £200, knocking it down from £1000 to £470 fully comp, 2 years NCB, 2 non faults accidents and 3 points for a TS10.

i used greenlight all mods declared less than 600, (admiral was over 900) keith michaels oddly would not give me a quote because i didn't enter a sensible 'renewal quote', they simply 'could not beat my renewal quote'.........whenever i look for quotes, i refuse to enter a renewal quote for other insurers to aim for as i think that it is irrelevant, i want a fair honest quote from scratch, not one that slightly undercuts my current renewal quote...............................

thanks for the info am now going to start and work my way through some ,have tried nu direct and will not insure a car with engine management mods even though it is subaru who did it did say to bloke does that mean if i buy the 500 arbarth and upgrade to ss you wont insure me on a poxy little fiat ,possibly not the best way to get a competative quote must try and work on my anger issues but isurance wind me up ,on old wrx had one that tried to put up my policies price as the tracker system was a modification to the car no matter what i said to the lady about it being a security system she wouldnt have it so moved on ,it is these kinds of experiences that make me enjoy the insurance ring around so much !! tjhanks again for the heads up on the companies like i say will try them today

Gary at Keith Michaels.

Once insured with him you can save yourself a fortune and also save yourself a couple of days faffing around each year looking for better quotes. My insurance has come down every year while I have been insured through KM even though the car keeps getting quicker
