Just an inocent question, do you have to declare the bigger alloys and brakes as theorectically they are prodrive parts and do belong on the car. How are you supposed to know if they are standard or not?

And didn't you just buy that SS exhaust to stop the rust?

y reg p1 with 18's, alcons, ss exhaust, full ncb, 31 year old, 6 points and a claim last year for £800
£2151, according to them due to the non approved mods, they say brembos are the subaru approved brakes, not alcons, cheapest quote ive had so far with mods, tesco wanted £200 less for a standard p1

absolute rubbish. The subaru approved brake upgrade is from Prodrive and it is Alcons not Brembos - they don't know what they're talking about.........

I was informed that whenever a car is changed from how it left the factory, the change should be declared as a modification even if it is with a Subaru branded part!

I think you should declare you have a P1 with Subaru WR options. I'm sure that for example when BMW drivers go for offical BMW 17's on their 318's insurance companies don't charge extra. Just a thought...

Mark,

Give either Me or Dean a bell at the office on Monday and I will see if I can come up with something for ya.

The number is 0113 250 0377

P1's with a few mods aren't usually a problem !! (oops, now I've said it )

Cheers,

John
