If your transferring the policy over to the scoob then you can still keep the 10years no claims.
If your buying a scooby as a "second" car and having a separate insurance policy then you wouldn't be able to use the no claims at the same time.

Some insurance companies will allow you to have both cars on the same poilcy tho. Thats about all i know.

Don't morethan offer a scheme where they will allow your no-claims bonus to be used on another car?

You can move the no claims onto the Scooby and start off the Focus on 0 no claims.

Your no-claims will save you more if used on the Scooby. Whereas the Focus shouldn't cot too much with none.

As above, some firms will take into account your 10 years and mirror it, if not they will probably offer a substantial introductory discount. Something like admiral multicar only works if it is only you driving, they did me a good deal when i got my scooby but when i mentioned my wife needed to use the second car (not the scooby) they wouldn't allow me to use the full no claims bonus. Cancl your policy, transfere your no claims onto the scooby and do some shopping about for the family car, paul
