After been hell bent on turbo'ing my sport i read through the thread again and it got me thinking.........
If i buy a turbo and then put ALL my panels on the car
Boot,wings,doors,bumpers,bonnet etc ect all i need to get painted is the roof an rear quarters... I can do door shuts myself no problem and to get the roof an 1/4 done i got quoted £150 cash in hand
So i found a WRX on a M plate with 102km on it so its about 60 000m am i right.
HKS superdragger, 17" multispokes, lowered and nothing else. in Silver with 5 months MOT 2 month tax for £1500 ono im soooooooo tempted to go see it as i have teh cash waiting.
So i got an insurance quote and for me 22 with 1 previous ban and my gf 20 with license for 1 year i was £1050 through confused.com
Im thinking this is going to be the most sensible idea then i can break the rest of the sport for parts an the panels off the WRX my old wheels etc
I really want to stick with WR1 blue.
Is that insurance quote "ALOT bearing in mind im £500 on the sport.

Sandy its from Edinburgh its a lad at my cousins work selling it
Meant to say it has facelift crystals and facelift grill but phase 1 bumper and bonnet - I assume he modded the grill
Need to sit down with the gf an have a wee think about it
