Default Admiral beats Aplan And KM insurance by a long way

Just to let you all know make sure you shop around.
I'm not knocking the above companies as they obviously have many happy customers, but they wanted cat 1 alarm (300quid)and would only give limited starter no claims, as my Scooby is a second car.

Quote was GBP 1200

Admiral GBP 464!!! without any security (42 year old fart) its a multicar insurance, 250 quid excess, other car 2.0l petrol toyota GBP150 premium (150 excess)

So both cars for half price of other quotes?

oh yes it was also cheaper if my other half is a named driver which suits me as it saves on taxi's from the pub too ( above companies wanted proof of experience in high performance cars) I pointed out it is slower than my bike.

Beat that!

MM

ps
going to fit an alarm anyway

Surprised as I found Admiral very expensive but they do seem to be good for the first year
