Not sure what everyone goes on about on here. Picked up my scoob in February this year and got a good quote from KM but they advised I saw out my existing policy and came back for my renewal which I thought was very admiral of them so I did and now this has gone up £60 12% in 8 months. I was then told it didn't include business mileage and for this they want another £70 - I only do 8000 miles a year total, at the most 1000 would be business.

 

Did you speak to Gary?

 

My original quote was by Gary but when I went back he insisted someone else had quoted me and I should deal with them even though I know it was Gary as my job means I have to note everything down with all my telephone conversations and I have his name next to the quote.

But surely this shouldn't be the reason why it should go up so much? The car is an Sti with PPP so it's definitely performance and he says elsewhere on the forum that he deals with these specifically.

Have just spoken to Gary who allowing for inflation has managed to stick by their original quote so can't thank him enough and glad to see common sense does still exist. But it does go to show you have to insist on speaking to the Man himself.
