Default Kieth Michaels Insurance WHY ????

Been trieng to get a quote for the last FIVE weeks

Tried to email them NO response.

Tried phoneing put on hold for what seems like a life time

Left numerous answere machine messages, not one call returned.

Finally gave up trying on Tuesday after been left on hold again then put through to the answere machine again. Why bother having an answere machine asking to leave your name and number If they never return the call.

Anybody else had this trouble with them as they seem to get a good report on SN

I don't do internet quotes, as i have previously stated several times on here.

The voicemail is a problem. I don't like having it, and have asked for it to be switched off, but the management have refused to do so.
Unfortunately i recieve too many messages to get back to everyone.

I appreciate it can be difficult to get through, but most people manage to get hold of me, even though it can sometimes take 2-3 calls.

I know this isn't an ideal situation, but if you end up getting a cheap quote from ourselves eventually i'd argue that it's worth the effort.

If you don't want to wait then feel free to speak to any other member of staff who answers the phone, but be aware they might not be a performance car specialist, so this could be reflected in your rate.

Never had a problem getting through. As Moley says it may take a while but it's never been a problem as such. The quotes do certainly make it worthwhile.

If i wasn't free myself i'd have only put you through to another guy who deals with performance cars.

Maybe for you they have but in general for most drivers over a sensible subaru owning age, KM will be light years ahead.

I'm genuinely pleased for you.

Insurers price for risk. Age, driving history and area all play a part in that.

I am pleased that Gary and KM look after their clients as well as they do and like all insurers look to minimize risk where possible to enable the best premiums for their target market. Sometimes, I am sure they get it wrong, but actuaries are a strange breed of uber-geeks.

I used to work in for a reasonably well known Motor Insurer in Brentwood Back in the days when I had a proper job, but I had to fire my boss and go work for myself

I had to make 3 phone calls and on each occasion wait for 10-20 mins.

Saved myself £700.

I consider £700 an hour a good return. Speaking on which i'm into month 10 of insurance so not long till renewal.

Definitely. A Plan are way worse for me - so Gary has had all the biz for the last 4 years. Far and away cheapest fully comp on 440bhp RCM P1 parked on the street in London, but then I'm not 22 with a baseball hat on back to front
