How young are you?
Try The Insurance Factory, but make sure you ask for Richard.

Hi,
Do what I'm doing, I've got a policy with Bell on my Peugeot 205 rally car, all mods declared £800.
They have to option (no age limit) to drive another car 3rd party for £44 extra if it's insured by someone else fully comp, so I've put my scooby in my mums name and got her to insure it for £300 fully comp (all mods declared)
I can now drive the Impreza on my pug policy (3rd party only) so if i have a smash and its my fault im buggered, but, in feb, march and april I was paying £380 a month with swinton (£4,500 a year) and the car isn't even worth that, I'm better off saving my money, and if I smash it up, ill buy a new one, simple as!
Why pay insurance thats worth more than the car when you can put it in a pot and buy a new one if need be?
