Default Northen Ireland!

Who would be best for insuring a V1 Sti in NI, a mate of mine living there is finding it very difficult to get sensible insurance quotes even though he is over 35, full no claims etc?

What say you please gents?

I tried Tesco for a quote on an import Type R and they were about 500 quid more expensive than the best quote I got, which was from elephant.co.uk (1100 quid). We really need more companies to start insuring drivers in NI for quotes to be competitive, it really is a ridiculous situation in this country!

I'm nearly 31 with full no claims and a clean licence.
