Well im looking for a new car. Have been driving a Honda Accord Type-R for the last 2 and a bit years, in the first week of March it was vandalised and the insurers have subsequently written it off. Ive lost my NCB in the process.
Ive had to buy a 306DT in the mean time to get to work but i want a scoob. Im 26, had license 7 years, 0 points, 0 NCB now because of the vandalism claim. Im looking at 1995/96/97 WRX or STI's. Does anyone think id get much change from £1500? or am i being unrealistic, if worst came to worst id probably buy a UK turbo and slowly modify the bhp.
What do we reckon, drive the 306 for a year
and get a NCB, or pray i get a competitive quote this year.

If you had a full NCB (which i'd have thought you would have done given the length of time you've been driving) you should lose a portion of it not the whole thing. Check that out, especially as it wasn't anything you did.
