When I had my magnex fitted I notified my insurance comp' that I had a stainless system. They asked no questions as to make diameter etc sent the policy back under mods like for like no extra charge. How do u think I stand as its not quite the same as O.E!

Lloyds TSB refused to ensure me if I had a scoobysport backbox fitted on the grounds that it would improve performance. They would however allow me to have a stainless steel exhaust that didn't improve performance.

As a result I had to change insurance companies (and saved money The best advice I can give is be as honest as possible even if it puts your premium up. If the s**t hits the fan they will argue that your Magnex is a performance mod which invalidates your cover.
